    Default Celtic Regional Recruitment

I was wondering, if a Celtic faction occupied territory in Egypt, would the Galatian Klerouchikoi be available for recruitment? I'm playing the Arverni faction now, and I've taken much of Europe and Anatolia by storm. And its not even 220 B.C. yet. Also, since I've taken Ankyra, it doesn't seem to have any cavalry or heavy infantry on the recruitment list. But when I was playing as other factions in the past, I got them without any problems. Is there a reason for that?

The only galatian unit the Averni can get is Galatikoi Kluddolon. Not all factions have access to all regional units. Farther you go from their base the less likely you are to get them.
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

That's because of model sharing :
    Gaesatae are shared with Tindanotae
    Solduros are shared with Kuarothori
Neitos are shared with Galatian Kleruchs
    Brihentin are shared with Lavotuxri

There was no celtic faction in Egypt but there were lots of celts who were used a military settlers and mercenaries in Ptol armies and who went on to live in Egypt.

Thats what I meant. I was hoping that if my Arverni empire would encompass Egypt, then maybe I might include Galatae colonials in my forces. Being a Pan-Celtic faction, I would have assumed that I would have access to Galatikoi Lavotuxri and Kuarotheroi from central Anatolia. But as I'm thirty years away from my first military reforms in the game, then I suppose I'll have to wait for their western counterparts to appear.

I hate to be a critic, but being a Pan-Celtic faction, I thought it would have stood to reason that I would be able to muster the kind of soldiers from provinces that historically had a high population of Celts. I've read somewhere that among the first Galatian mercenaries that served under Ptolemy II actually mutineed and attempted to establish their own independent kingdom on the banks of the Nile before they were thwarted and annihilated.
