    Default Tombraider (Legends? Anniversery?)

I forget the one that just came out, but there's a Tombraider that was released for console last year, just came out on PC. Considering getting it for PC. It's either Anniversery or Legends, can't remember which is the latest. Anyway, any thoughts?

Anniversary Different game entirely to Legend. It's newly released on PS2 and PC, with a speculated xbox 360 release later on.

Not actually played a Tomb Raider game, but I've heard quite a bit of good about this one. Someone called it "The first good Tomb Raider game since the first one." which amused me greatly as this is a remake of the original game.

There's a demo. I might actually try it at some point.

Thanks Froggy. I think the demo will tide me over until the weekend. I always like the first tombraider. The music, the scenery, the puzzles... It wasn't just a simple first person shooter and I liked that a lot. I found the 2nd one less intriguing than the first, the third I only tried the demo and gave up after that (and that was 8 years ago). Maybe worth a shot.

The other appeal is games that I can play in 1hour sitting time or less. The only complaint I've ever had against MTW is the massive amounts of time required.

I tried the demo, it's pretty good. The game hasn't changed much since the first one, but if you liked it then you will like this, I think. The controls have been improved a lot, and there are as usual additions in what acrobatics Lara can perform, this time she

, for instance. Graphics are also better than in earlier games, of course, but not outstanding. At the very least, the entire world doesn't look like platforms and sharp ledges only, as it did in some earlier TR games. Only thing that bothers me, is that the full game seems a bit short - only 11 levels or so. The demo contains a little more than half of one of these levels, and I completed it in less than 1 hour, even though I spent a lot of time thinking and by trial and error finding out how to make the grappling hook work, resulting in falling down in the water and having to redo a long jumping puzzle over and over again.

Just tried the demo for a bit.

Wow i had forgotten how much Tomb Raider had in common with the (and far greater) PoP: SoT. Controls still feel a bit clunky though (always did in TR games).
