Unhappy Tech help: Noob with new computer, the movies stuttuttutter.

My old computer just didn't handle MOTW2 that well, and now, my new one handles it like a charm, apart from one annoying thing. The intro and menu movies play like, 2 seconds, then, pause stutter, play for 2 seconds. The mini movies behave the same way ingame.

The rest of the game works flawlessly, but this is annoying on my spanking brand new computer. I think it is some codec related stuff or?

On a side note, my mediaplayer won't play DIVX without behaving like above, but the standalone DIVX player works like a charm.

Anyone got any ideas to try out?

Welcome! Good to know your problem is solved, even though I can't see how it was. Maybe a tech person can help more?

I need some help as well!!! I just bought a new Dell gaming computer with more than enough memory, RAM to rock on RTW. When I tried to load the computer doesn't recognise Disk 2. I have contacted everybody fro Dell to Total War and Saga even but to no avail. The problem is my Vista OS I know but I've read of people getting it loaded and actually playing!! If anyone can help me through this I would be forever in your debt!!

Try to install on another computer.

If that fails, you've likely got a problem with your disc and should seek a replacement.

I'm pretty sure that the problem isnt' vista - i'm running that atm and it works fine...
