    Default Baktria: Armored Elephants skin/model?

    Hey, new to the forums, been playing EB a while, great mod!

    Couldnt find a forum search function...

    I noticed the model for Baktrian Armored Elephants looks the same as the regular elephant model... and if I recall correctly the vanilla version Armored Elephant model, actually has Armor... the description page shows it with armor as well...

    I'm not too saavy with mods, so if I have to change something around I'll probably need step by step walk through....

    Was hoping there was something I could patch...

    There is a minimod for the ealephants in the unofical mods section, and a forum search to the right of the user contol pannel.

    I found tk's minimod, but the link is dead, I'm not sure this would have corrected the problem with Baktrian Armored elephants anyway...

    If I knew which model had the armored skirts and headpiece, I could just replace the Baktrian Armored elephant model with that one, but I have no idea how to do this...

    Maybe cut and paste from the Vanilla version? lol I'm totally lost here...

    Ok poking around in the EB unit models/textures, looks like Cataphracts is the model with armor...

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_AFRICAN_ELEPHANT_CARTAGINIAN.TGA(texture shows with NO armor)

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_AFRICAN_ELEPHANT_CATAPHRACT_CARTAGINIAN.TGA(texture shows WITH armor)

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_INDIAN_ELEPHANT_CARTAGINIAN.TGA(texture shows with NO armor)

    It appears the INDIAN cataphract TEXTURE is missing... and I'm pretty sure Baktria uses the Indian Elephants, if I remember the description page correctly...

    Could I just copy the AFRICAN_ELEPHANT_CATRAPHRACT texture, and make a new file named:

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_INDIAN_ELEPHANT_CATAPHRACT_CARTAGINIAN.TGA ??

    Would I have to change anything else?

    You are not mistaken, nor is there anything wrong with your install.

    Armored elephants are being made. Check some of the previews to see some of the unarmored ones.

    We must ask for patience. They will be a part of EB soon.

    Gotcha...

    I would think though the African Cataphract texture could be used for an Indian Cataphract texture, I know enough to just copy the

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_AFRICAN_ELEPHANT_CARTAGINIA N.TGA,

    and rename

    EBUNIT_PROME_MOUNT_NEW_INDIAN_ELEPHANT_CARTAGINIA N.TGA

    thus creating an armored elephant texture for Indian elephants... how to ensure it's implemented from there I'm totally lost.

    Ok here goes nothin, I'm going to copy the African Catraphract texture, and make a new Indian Cataphract texture.. In the Data/Models_Units/Textures folder.

    Then in the export_descr_unit files, under indian elephant armored, do the following changes, exactly how its listed for african elephant armored:
