    Question Gone hording...

Is it possible to move a horde around without having to move each army individually, as this gets rather tedious if you want to travel a long way and have a crappy computer like mine that runs everyhting slowly.

Also, is it possible to mod the game to that you can tell your units to go farther before the arrows run out? eg: You have a diplomat in Southern Italy and you want to send him up to Northern Gaul, but the movement arrows don't stretch that far so you have to keep on giving him new orders turn after turn.

    Thanks,
    Fwapper.

Unfortunately, you do have to move your horde armies around one-by-one. It is another nasty hardcode in R:TW, meaning that it cannot be modified. My sincere apologies.

Sorry, but the answer to that is also, very sadly, no. Sorry.

Sorry about the issues, hope this helps, cheers!

well, if you tell a diplomat to move to gaul from southern italy doesn;t his 'movement line' (or what ever it's called) turn red, then blue after green. If you left click on the ground after setting the diplomat's movement it should stay, if you click on another unit/army or right click anywhere it erases it. This is from my expierence in RTW.

edit: when I stay I mean the 'orders' will stay, not the line on the ground.

Yep Stuperman, it does, normally, work like that. However, if you wish to go further than the white bar, worth about six/seven turns of movement, then it stubbornly just won't let it happen - R:TW is a little irritating in this way.

Aaah well... thats a shame. Thanks for your help anyway. Just out of interest, has this problem been fixed in M2TW? (Not that I'll be getting it for a very long time - once I have a decent pc)
