    Default 'Rome Reborn'

Hello all. I just found this on the Minneapolis Star Tribune website. Quite intresting and good work from some people at University of Virginia. Here is a short discription and the link

Computer experts rolled out a digital reproduction of ancient Rome as it appeared at the peak of its power in A.D. 320 — the largest and most complete simulation of a historic city ever created.

    hmm...it's good..

but if they can reproduce the background of founding of Rome(let us see how is the look of Rome start with just a few village),rise of Rome until fall of Rome will be better...coz picture tell the history more simple and clear than just ABCD(then we can only imagine what the history describe, imagine still can't fulfill our curiousity! )

Aaah... it puts to shame what comes up on my screen when I siege Rome with the lowest building detail level...
