Greek City States

just curious, but has anyone done a mod in which the Greek City States are the main focus, including factions like Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Crete etc.

Of course. An excellent mod for BI 1.6 called Hegemonia: City-Sates.

Another good one is the Extended Greek Mod. Although not adding in factions

, it does have the main focus of Greeks, giving them the same depth as vanilla Roman factions. It does much better to show all the factions more historically than RTW, so its not just focusing on Greeks. And to provide an even greater challenge, they have made several factions as "rebels", to contest many big factions. There are also the Independent Greek States faction, which does more or less show the different Greek kingdoms around the Mediterranean. A must try at the very least.
