Pretty sure it was six years. I know it was before the attacks in NY and Shogun had been out for less than a year.

Yesterday a few minutes after I posted I got the error message. I'm sorry if I broke the website. It's not my fault I got a pooped Win98 computer at work. I really meant no harm.

It's Ok Darra, it's not your fault - the server semi-randomly decided that it wanted to cause some chaos by burning the database at that time. It wasn't anybody's fault.

I really didn't think it was my fault. It was just really freaky.

I pressed the post button.

I go to the next screen saying post is successful.

I then get all hung up..........so I try coming in from the homepage again.

And poof, error.

Anyways, another gaming community I'm involved with just had our server moved around but we are missing all data from mid-may to mid june. And yeah, it felt like a major disconnect. I'm only a minor admin there but it sure hurt.

Well since we are on this topic, Daraa, wow..i did it for about 2 mo. Nice work! And, as you said with your first post up there, as i was "lurking" i noticed all the trouble you guys go through to manage such a nice comunity! Thats saying alot from someone who lived in Detroit

Ha ha ha!!! I still live in Detroit, very far Westside, one street from not being in Detroit and being in Redford. Once spent many years on the near Eastside, Chene St. and Warren Ave. area, a warzone more or less, a very high crime and arson rate, very bad, about 1.5 miles east of WSU, What' Sa' matta U, Wayne State University, the largest U in Michigan, and my alma mater.

Nice site here. The METW XL mod is very good.
