    I know there are guides which show units stats etc, but are there any which show how units are recruited?
    At the end of the day politics is just trash compared to the Gospel.

    If you mean which buildings produce which units then try the building browser on the construction panel. It shows which units can be produced from each building.

    Except units that need gunpowder. They don't appear until after the event.

    Me too.

    Apprently there is one with a certain edition of the game, but that's not the one I have. I'd love a tech tree, for all factions.

    Agreed. It took me quite a while to realise that gun units are built in cities from high level military buildings.

    Philbert,

    Same with me. Thats why in my current game I'm "Over building" the barracks line in Milan and holding off on attacking Germany. I want to go in with gunpowder units so I had to plan ahead (like 80 turns) to do it.

    Same. My edition has a tech tree but only for the unlocked factions at the start. The stats are from an old build, too.
