Ive read a few complaints about poor unit detail, lack of arrows, choppy game play.......Well I see the arrows, details looks great, and it runs smooth on my machine. Maps look great too. The only glitch if seen is that troops walk through the walls of the portacufs?? on Keep (secound to last battle).... not a biggie..

Yes the gates are interesting. Having smashed them like a wall section, it's just the gate that opens rather than the whole thing being destroyed.
Maybe it's just the graphics need a change and the actual mechanics work fine.

Hmmm l never charged the gate. I just smash 2 arrow towers and the wall between them, giving you a huge path to go in the AI moves men there to protect the breach and my artillery rains death on em.
Anyway can u though see the arrows coming from the walls?!?!
If the castle has something like 2-3 or more gates rushing each gate out of the range of your artillery will be very easy to block.
