Hmmmm do we have any records from the Spanish Conquistadors of their men being killed by Hornet Throwers?

I believe there are a very few surviving records which depict a Mayan hornet/bee/wasp/stinging insect-throwing catapult. The insects in question were sealed inside jars or artificial hives prior to loading to avoid 'friendly-fire' as it were.
While not directly lethal, hornet stings are certainly enough to distract most people, even when a crazed native is charging towards you with chunks of obsidian embeded in a stick intent on chopping your head off.
