Its good to see the boards are up again. What happened exactly?
The server crashed or so it said on the main page.
Must have been a nasty crash. The forums were already down yesterday evening at around 6.00 pm (GMT +1). Let's hope all is well now.
Allow me to cast a spell upon the board never to crash again. *speaks out some mumbo jumbo* Now for the spell onto the server. *mumbo jumbo* May they fare well and do us good.

It occurred to me while it was off what a large chunk of the modding resources etc. would be lost if areas like the scriptorium couldn't be re-instated.

Yes, they are. Several places actually.
When the boards where back, there was something strange with the Backroom: when I went to the Tavern, the Backroom was there, but under 'last post' it said "never" and under posts/threads it mentionned '0'.
And now, the Backroom seems to be gone entirely
Am I the only one who experiences this?

Yup, it said "never" and thread and posts where 0, but when I entered the Backroom, everything seemed 100 % normal.I confirm.

ZOMG ! I haven't seen this before !
So, yesterday I had to find out the forums were down, was completely lost and had to sit around aimlessly for about 10mins until my peanut-sized brain got the idea that I could play Medieval 2 and hope my source of intelligence would be back up afterwards. After that, I had to join the chat to get anything org-related because it was still down. And today I come here, rejoicing with my freshly regained intelligence until I read here and found this:

It may be related to the crash or coincidence, it seems the door to the Backroom is removed from the database (partly updated during the crash, now it's found to be corrupt and dropped?). I'll make a Backup of the current database first, download that and then see to put the door back. Please report other glitches, a few things may be damaged during the crash.
I expect the Backroom to be back in 30 minutes.

I got it when I clicked Kukri's link to the Watchtower thread about the Backroom. Afterwards, I tried a few times to visit the Guild index and I got the same message. Exclusions are playing up - I presume you're trying to fix the backroom issue?
Yes, tried about everything from the least to the most aggressive. I must be overlooking something: it still doesn't show.

No. I can exclude the BackroomWT (you renamed that one?), but under Tavern, I can only exclude Frontroom and Gameroom, there's no mention of the Backroom there.It should be listed on the exclude for Junior, Member and Seniors now?
