If I recall, only Portugal, Spain, England, France, HRE, Milan, Venice, Sicily and Byzantium have long speeches. I'm not sure about the Papal states or Hungary. I assume Hungary has those short speeches. Scots get their own set of short speeches. Poland, Denmark and Russia get poor one-liners. I agree that Muslim speeches are the least inspiring.

Most speeches are more like conversations than battle speeches. "As a man of learning I tell you..." Usually I just skip those speeches. I think some of them are trying to reach a humoristic attitude though with little success. I still like some of them. "To a bloody day!" is my (current) favourite.

The one liners are actually pretty freaking funny.
"I thought CA was unarmed? Unless he got some samurai swords or something... I only got some rocks and some sticks." Shlin in BR realizing he has no weapons what so ever.

While it's true that some of them are really funny, especially when they take you unawares at the end of a normal speech, few of them are really blood-stirring or awe inspiring, especially when compared to some of Rome ones.

From what I've seen, only the English have really GOOD speeches, everybody elses just seem kinda...bleh. The French get a few good lines, but most of the other factions just ramble about 'GOD WANTS US TO KILL INFIDELS LOL' for a while.

I think perhaps due to recent world events, CA may have toned down some of the Muslim battle speeches to avoid any comparisons to some of the favorite cliches and statements used by Islamic terrorists. Or am I just a goat fondling arse monkey/crazy?

    DEAR CA

I am pretty sure that if lack of extra funds to pay actors/voiceovers for M2TW is the problem, I am sure you can find lots of tallent among the messageboards.

Just do a casting call, but because my voice is stupid I won't participate but I am sure that if you do a quick call and get some decent talent or even speech ideas, you could very quickly put them in the game via posting a link on that Loader startup screen that you produced on the 1.2 patch.

    Thank you.

It is not just the matter of voice actors (if so); it is also a matter of proper resources such as studios, recording equipment, standards, monetary compensations, etc.
