    Default M2TW on Vista

Will M2TW run 100% smoothly on Vista? Also, what about RTW?

    Hi Caledonian Rhyfelwyr,
I am lead to believe that they both can run just as well as XP, but it depends on your system specifications - you will probably require higher specs to get them running optimally on Vista than you would on XP. Vista is supposed to be a bit of a resource hogger according to some. Hope this helps, cheers!

Technically Omanes should be right, practically I didn't notice any big performance drop when I switched, maybe I lost 1 or 2 fps on average, but that's hardly noticeable at around 20-30 fps and more.
    My specs are C2D E6600
    2GB DDR 2 667
    and a 512MB GF 7950GT

If Vista uses mainly more RAM, that shouldn't be a big issue since M2TW seems to be rather RAM friendly IMO(I can run programs in the background like ICQ and MSN without any noticeable performance loss and Alt-Tabbing is always VERY fast for a game).

It works fine (definitely much, much better than other games)

Having a problem when running battles now. They're OK most of the time, but sometimes I get an unexpected error message. I've updated to Patch 1.2, with no mods at all, so I have no idea what could be causing this.

I had some crashes before cutscenes started, especially with mongols and timurids. Turning off cutscenes in the preferences file fixed that and to be honest, I prefer it this way because the game won't always take my camera away when I'm trying to give orders.
