The new forum arrangement represents a step forward for Totalwar...the demo has been formally released for download... August 23, 2002 is the release date...it is now only a matter of time.

SO THE DEMO IS OUT AND IT IS LOOKING GOOD.

One new feature that is a GREAT improvement is the "group bar" above groups, so now you can CTRL select 3 units in a 4 unit group....or the whole 4 unit group, or just 2 of them....

much better.

the backdrops look great, the tutorial has been much improved to help new players pick up the nuances of the combat engine...

If Activision invests a little in customer support, I think we may have a winner here.

As far as EA is concerned, its a dead game.

Activision is actually giving it a chance...hats off to Activision!!!!

Its well worth the download time, I would say...what else are you doing now that the server is down.
