Or, just write from the POV of a "scribe" at the castle. He'd be writing the "Great History of the Japanese Unification by the Imagawa". Or something like that.

Hi,

To be honest the opening movie that plays for each STW faction is probably the best inspiration for the initial introduction. The idea that you write it from the perspective of a scribe rather than as a personal journal of the Shogun is a good one as this gives you the option to be critical of your own strategy and tactic's if you need to be.

Further than this it rather depends whether you intend to set yourself any personal goals for the campaign, or merely start playing and react to events.

In my Scottish blog my factions main goal was to drive the Norman invaders from the Island of Britain and unite the kingdom under Canmore rule. Whilst OverKnight's Byzantine Campaign aims to restore the glory of the Eastern Roman Empire.

The Imagawa goals might be to unite Japan under their rule, or merely to dominate their area of the country and secure the future of their clan. Some mention of your intended strategy might also be in order, especially if you plan to expliot the Imagawa's special strengths.
