Default HELP. Un-installed DLV mod now Campaign Game won't start

Edited, Nevermind :) I sorted it out. must have been a stray file somewhere that disappeared after a few restarts and a re-install.

    -------------

Like the title says, I tried out the DLV mod and decided it wasn't for me, so i pressed the "uninstall" button that it puts in it's section on the start panel to remove it.

After it was done, I tried to lay the regular Vanilla campaign game in a new game. but under any faction, when i attempted to start it, it just goes back to the main menu "singleplayer" screen, but the "Grand Campaign" button doesn't work; I need to press "bacK" to return to the main menu then again, singleplayer and Grand Campaign, but it turns into a big circle of buttons an never plays the campaign.

I replaced the Descr_Strat file with the backed-up copy I made before doing any modifications to it myself, and this semi worked.... I could play a campaign but, with only the regular factions playable and everything else still "locked", Scotland was playable!! I decided there was probably too many bugs left from the DLV mod uninstall to risk it, so I unstalled the entire game, as well as deleting the SEGA folder aftewards before attempting a reinstall and patch to 1.02.

Alas the game still does not work (unmodded descr_strat). Same thing happening, except scotlands not available as a starting, unlocked faction like it was before. I even ran through the Tutorial in case I needed to replay that seeing as it was a new install, but no love.
