When rebels attack!!!

TODAY ON "WHEN REBELS ATTACK!!!"

It was a quiet day on Imperial Lands. Two German lords of Magdeburg were sitting in their castle tower drinking cups of tea and eating sausage rolls when suddenly..

Rebels besiege the castle in an attempt to take the two lords hostage. What will become of them and what will the rebels do and how did the lords react to this amazing situation?

Tune in later as we discover the rebels hidden plots and agendas as well as how this horrible incident happened in "WHEN REBELS ATTACK!!!"

You should be fine, just wait and see if they attack. If they don't and your about to fall, just rush out with your generals and keep your crossbowmen on the walls. Then bait them toward the gates of your castle.

Actually I was meaning to say this is a freak occurrence. Rebels never ever attack settlements and I was actually astounded as how this happened. Nevertheless, the rebel stack consisted mainly of militia and I just lazily auto-resolved it. Haha so much for my intro!!

I think that these were the remnants of an enemy army that was about to attack you but rebelled. Usually that army continues its plan of attack.

Nope, I've seen some spontaneous rebels attack my cities (ie they sit around for a few turns, then decide to take the castle)

Actually. I'm more curious as to why the Pope has sent a fleet to the Baltic. I don't think I've ever seen the Papal States sail beyond Gibraltar.

If you look closer, he has lots of provinces beyond Gibraltar, Bruges for example.

Yeah! I did notice, looks like a bad case of wandering Pope Syndrome. In my games he rarely leaves Italy unless I gift him a province to keep him sweet.

It's probably gifted from the player as the Pope has Prague, Toulouse and Alexandria as well.
