many times i have tried to bring down the console useing the ~ key but never seems to work. also got rtw gold runs alot better but my genrals dont get many traits why is this thanxs

It has been a while, but I suspect you must press Shift ~ to activate the console.

Regarding your second question: I do not know for certain, but perhaps you don't utilize them enough; they are not placed in situations that give them certain traits...?

Hi wtm,
The ~ key, strangely, for me, has never opened the console correctly. However, on my PC, pressing the `¬ key, directly below the escape key (Esc), resolved the issue and opened up the console. Hope this helps, good luck, cheers!.

it is strange i have goldand open the console with ¬ yet on M2TW i use'

Console in M2TW is either ` (key to the left of 1; on US english keyboards) or shift# ie ~ (on some european keyboards)
