You can simply make a second install of M:TW and VI (you need to do this directly from the CD), and install your mod into the new M:TW folder. Unfortunatly, this doesn't work with R:TW (and BI) however, and if you intend on installing multiple R:TW mods you should manually create a copy of an unmodded R:TW folder.

I only have MTW but I've played a number of great mods, starting with Hellenic Total War, Fall of Rome, then XL and I'm currently playing the BKB Super Mod (and losing as the Nicean Empire in High - very hard). All are excellent and deserve checking out.

Do I now re-install it and install the other mod? If yes, then I'll do that, but, if I do that, then how would I play BKB's SuperMod, would I switch my TW folders between my program files program or am I completely and just another stupid 'noob' annoying you all?
    Cheers.
