Don't worry, you don't need BI. R:TR 7.0 will require BI, but 6.0 (which requires 1.2) and Platinum (which requires 1.5) won't, although you can play Platinum with BI if you wish. You can find these two brilliant modifications here. Simply download and follow the instructions to play R:TR to it's full. Hope this helps, good luck, cheers!
