You can recruit them in Ethiopia

You can recruit then in some of your starting settlements too, like Ptolemais-Theron, and pretty much anything south of Memphis...or was it Diplosis-whatever.

Do You mean ethiopian_agemata?
At least in internal build right now You can get them in Thebais and Triakontaschoinos ( since they need Level 4 of native Mic, this means Gov 2 minimum ).
Dont know if its different in .82

Well, not in the 'external' build. ;) There's many more places to get them.

While its true You can theoretically get them everywhere south om Memphis You cant build high enough MIC to get them everywhere ( as I said You need type 2 gov ). And I am talking Ptolemois only ( maybe You mean other factions ).
