Oh, hehe, I didn't catch that you use Vista before. You definitely need more RAM, Vista hogs more resources than XP.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

Definitely. On my new laptop with ginormous 2GB RAM Vista eats 300-800 MB on idle.

Vista scales RAM usage depending on how much you have. Its working under the premise that if the RAM is sitting idle, its being wasted. Adjust the indexing settings to free some up

I have Pentium 4 2.6 GhZ, 512 MB RAM and 128 MB Geforce FX5200, and i have all graphics settings on high (except AA and grass), and unit setting at Huge. It runs just fine.

Adjust index setting - OK - but not sure what that means! Will try and find out.

Well after turning off all the fancy graphical effects for Vista HP I eventually got in-game, as it were, but the landscape is still a lovely shade of pink and after I exited a battle-game the system froze again. Ave EB, I will return again in the future when my specs are higher . . .

For the pink stuff, this would be useful.
