You checked on the FIFA 2007 siteto see if anyone else is having the same problem after installing the game? You may find it's software related, I hope so for the sake of your wallet.

Stupid me. I just reinstalled the drivers, resetted the monitor options and now it works.

Glad it worked out to be the non expensive software issue.
Mind you, the easiest way to check if something like this is faulty after about 1 year is to check your warranty. If you have a 12 month warranty and the problem appears 12 months and 1 day after you have bought the item, it is definitely a hardware fault.
