A thread solely for the praise or non-praise to Heineken. What are your thoughts on this beer brand? Good, bad? Explain.
I personally find it... "decent" but not any higher than that. If not decent, less than average.

Emotion, passions, and desires are, thus peace is not.
Emotion: you have it or it has you.

Meh, it's okay. If someone were to buy me a drink and ordered a Heineken without first asking if that's what I wnated, I would drink it. I usually don't drink them of my own volition, however.

Should I even post something on it?
No Heineken is not worth it
If you want beer drink something Belgian or from Limburg ... or Grolsch
I would never buy a crate of Heineken, but if they would have it in the bar I would be going I would drink it ... but then the pubs and bars I go to don't have Heineken, I live in a no-Heineken-area
I dont drink.

I voted 'Gah!' There was a time when Heineken was in. But that time is long past. I'll drink it, but I don't go out of my way to buy it. It does need to be very cold. I don't mind the flavor, but it doesn't have much character.
I'll choose Heineken over commercial American beers any day.
If I'm going to drink that kind of beer, Stella is just about everywhere around here these days. But my preference of late has been good ol' Guinness--unless I'm drinking tequila, in which case I'll have a Dos Equiis or the like.

Can't say I particularly like it or not. It's bland, cheap beer. Must say that it was delicious last sunday after half a year without alcohol though.

Don't really like it. I would drink it if a friend ordered it for me but not really what I would order.
Personally I would order Smithwicks or Stella or Guinness

Ale... gives me a headache.
I had to say it. Although it's not entirely fair, since I like a few ales for taste alone; but they do all give me a headache. So I think I'll stick to bourbon and cheap lager chasers. (i.e. Icehouse
)
Anyway, I like Heine.

Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now

The dream is gone.

Unpleasant, metallic fizzy rubbish. Why anyone in the UK would drink it when we have so many glorious ales available I have no idea.

It's drinkable, but it's not my first choice. Or second, third or fourth...
