Just out of curiousity - does somebody know the engine differences between Rome and Alexander (1.5 and 1.9 respectively)? I notice it doesn't use BI features, and its performance on my PC feels a mite slower...

I think there might be something about units... Either unit amount, or... Something related to modding, perhaps?
Honestly, I don't know.

Off topic, the M2TW demo performance varies very much with the settings (my performance improved dramatically with shadows off, shader 1 or some such). The full game plays much better than the demo too.
