Sorry, college has had me busy for the last 2 weeks. I'm working on getting the images squared away, so it may be a while before I can get any screenshots up. I show you what the campiagn make looks like for each era though, if that will do.

Education is more important than mere video games, but at least keep us abreast of developments. I want see this mod succeed. I can help with some historical research if you want.

I'll try. I have this weekend free, so I'll defintely have something to show. As for research, any help is good help. I have a curent problem scrounging up enough historical units, which can make some factions rather limited.
your safest bet with the Norse is to simply port over units from MTWVI or XL. The Byazantines went through a major military reform just before thier huge war with Persia in 602. However, you can simply port over the Kataphraktoi and Klibnariiphoi from XL, while the Varnargains don't come in until the mid 800s.
I'll post more once I give my books about the Sassinsids and Byzantium a once-over.

Hi here s wot i found on dark ages units: http://www.digitization.org/wiki/ind...le=AOK:SOLDIER
here s a link it seems a bit childisch but if you click on the units you will see wot kind of units you got and somme pics: http://images.google.nl/imgres?imgur...%3Dnl%26sa%3DN
but i think you will get somme good ideas from this like clothing and weapons and shields![]()
Some Sassinsid units...
Savaran (use Kataphractoi as base) elite heavy cav. high stats
Paighan (use Almohad Urban Militia) basic infantry, useless in anything other than sieges. you can split the Paghian into sword and spear really low stats
Medians heavy infantry (use Spearman) rank and file infantry low stats
Median Javelinmen AND Median slingers (I suggest asking Macsen Rufus for some of his Ancient TW missile units for these guys) low stats
Dailamite infantry (use Saracen Infantry, both boost stats bigtime) as Median infantry, but even more elite. Make them cheap, but only recruitable in Caspain area.
Archers (use base Archers, but give them a pavise type shield) they carried light wicker shields
Armenian Savaran (as Savaran, but also recruitable as mercs and only in Armenia) high stats, but should show up in rebel armies
Horse Archers (use Mongol Horse Archers)
Zhayedan (use Klibnariphoi from MTW-XL, but give massive stat boost) bodyguard unit for princes and Shahs. very high stats
Kurdish Javelinmen (as Median Javelinmen but only recruitable in Mesopatamia) decent stats
King at start (632)should be Yazdegird III, but make base loyalty of all proviences really low (prone to revolt) as he was the last of a rocade of brief reigns before the Arabs. Also, see if thier is a way you can make the Savaran easily bribable, as many went over to the Arabs after Al-Qadiyasa.
Byzantines to follow.
