Trebizond Archers will sweep the floor with camel guts. Any elite foot archer will because they have a longer range

Personally I am mostly in contact with aforementioned camels when I am the Byzantines. I have found that trebizoid archers do a fine job against them, but also that Byzantine Infantry -v- camels isn't such a fun fight for the camels!
