    HI TO ALL .
THIS MODE IS TRULLY GREAT (I HAVE PLAYED TOTAL REALISM).
I have some questions to make.

1 GREEK HOPLITES those guys rock when press the guard mode but why other units like them do that armed identicall they do not have the same result like lybian hoplites or marseile hoplites and early triari?

2 CASSE SHORT SWORDMEN Why so cheap ? In comparison with other units they are the same good and much cheaper practicly u can drown the enemy with them.

3 HORSE CHARGE Why so weak? Even the best horsemen cannnot ram down
levy units. In reality even a horses weight could kill a man (and the horse with the horseman) In europa horses just seem stop like they fell on a wall.

    1. Almost all Hoplite type units are like that. Powerful in Guardmode. That include the Classical, Spartiatai, Camillan Triari and units like Hypaspistai, Hellenic Agema and Baktrian Agema. Even Greek levy hoplites are powerful in Guard mode. The Phalanx was a powerful formation in it's own right. Although vulnerable from the flanks and rear. The Guardmode is the closest the devs could get to representing the classical phalanx formation ingame without the "Shield Wall" formation from BI.

    2. Most of the Celtic shortswordsmen are relatively cheap. One of the most versatile of them are the Galatikoi Kluddolon. Compared to some other celtic swordsmen they are cheap but are much better melee fighters and with higher morale to boot. They are often at the bottom of the Celtic warrior society, meaning they have inferior equipment compared to more experienced warriors but a greater need to prove themselves in battle.

    3. The need to find balance is one of the most challenging things in a game. The EB team didn't want their horsemen to be tanks that can break anything with their charge. Elephants are the closest in EB resembling that. No horse. No matter how well trained, will charge a wall of pointy sticks. Charging any dense formation of troops will, after the first momentum of impact is achieved. Slow down and then stop. Only certain levy units will get trampled down by cavalry. Everyone else will need several consecutive charget to an exposed flank to break. If you aligned your shock cavalry properly and charge them correctly you will see the occasional flying man. But don't expect them to roll up the entire enemy line for you.

If your horsemen do not lower their lances while charging, then you have not ensured that they were properly set up. Therefore, they do not enjoy the sweet attack bonus that is otherwise given.
