They always performed well enought to me. Their only problem is to be so few, but well used will make their task.

I am under the impression you shouldn't mess with Brihentin either. They've been my uber killer machine in an Aedui campaign.

Exactly. I use one unit of Brihentin in all my Roman legions instead of the Gallic or any other auxiliary cav. Kick-ass

That's a great campaign, isn't it? I am thoroughly enjoying my Aedui game and even their lighter troops are excellent.

The Aedui rock! Plus, they've got all sorts of features that keep the game going: Skepas is one of them.
    Casse are great too.

Skepas? what is that. o.O Yeah, Brihentin are nasty. My legions currently consist of 10 units of citizen infantry, 6 units of foreign troops to form an ala (usually 6 Neitos in the north and 6 Hoplitai/Samnitici in the south) and my cavalry wing is made up of 4 foreign cavalry, either 4 Brihentin in the north and west, or 4 Extraordinarii in the south. 1337! XD

The point being, don't mess with Brihentin. They are widely recruitable, and they kick major a**.
