Man enjoying himself playing Pontus

Since downloading Redmeth's mini mod I have thoroughly enjoyed myself playing Pontus, which before playing Redmeths mod was almost impossible to play without being wiped out by the AS within 20 years. For people who like taking it slow I fully recomend the mini mod. I am able to build my cities without the constant barrage of the AS. Though the AS is stilll attacking me with mostly mercenaries, I am still able to fend them off without having to fight 2 to 5 battles every turn. I am now fighting on average 1 battle every turn, which I find very enjoyable.

So if anyone is tired of fighting 2 or more battles every turn please look at the mini mod Redmeth has provided.

I would like to add , that there are 2 versions of mini-mod now. New one is geared towards Roleplaying and playing smaller factions.Other one is for people that want harder challenge, but without "infinite stacks". Playing smaller faction is still doable, but expect to be put to quite test very soon in campaign.

In reply to mlp71, I am challenged because every other turn there is a full stack that comes my way, it is just not 2 to 5 stacks every turn. I am now in the year 216 bc and I have around 10 to 12 cities and am expanding slowly. I like it this way so I can build my economy and build better troops to fuck up the AS, since their troops are so superior to most troops.

Yeah , you do get challenged with both versions of mini mod.

Gay overtones on title, does anyone remember the comedian who used that saying "Men enjoying themselves" was it Monty Python or someone else? Makes me laught everytime I hear it.
