    Default Editing Generals Portriats

    Hello All.
I was wondering if there is any way that I can edit my generals Portriat cards using a program such as gimp, photoshop pro or something in that catagory. I already know where the ui_1 and ui_0 files are but how do i open and edit them?

    Thanks

ah the reason you are not able to open them is ui_1 and ui_0 are packs, you need to unpack them first so you can see the tga files. The tga files are then quite straightforward to edit with Gimp etc.

See this for now on unpacking:

info on that is around here somewhere as well, I've lost it again....

does explain what you need to do instead of re-packing files.

You still won't actually be able to open the .pak files but within the packs folder you should get folder called data. Then in that follow path data/ui/roman/portraits etc... Have you not got that?
