MTW2 Crashes with new Video Card

Hi,

As a background I do not have much computer expertise. I'm just a dangerous user if you know what I mean

I have been playing MTW2 for a few months now. It has been fun. It would crash once and a while but I wasn't that aggravated with it.

I then got a new video card (BFG GF 8500) and swapped out my old one (ATI X600).

Downloaded the correct drivers and did a Windoze Update.

I didn't adjust any settings but I don't know what settings to adjust or even where they are.

Since then I crash within minutes of loading up a game.

I did a reinstall however I kept my old saved games.

Any ideas?

(I realise that this will seem quite noobish to some, please be patient)

Nevermind, I found the solution in this thread.

Funny how it started with the new videocard and wasnt a problem with the old one.
