Help with invisible mounted troops!

Hello!

I've been trying to make a mounted unit from a unit which is not mounted. I want to make a mounted version of Sherwood Archers. I've tried everything I could think of, starting with different units as the base (French Mounted Longbowmen, Skythikons, &c.), playing around with textures, same with models. No matter what I do, I always end up with horses sitting there plain as day, but no one riding them.

I have made dismounted versions of mounted troops (Dismounted Kataphractoi, mmm) and now want to go the other way. The DK work perfectly.

I have tried the tutorial to get the Byzantine Dragoons in there, but the same thing happens. My EDU and modeldb are all exactly like in that thread. It isn't that they are that translucent, ghostly colour you get when the textures are messed up. There's just no one there.

Can anyone help me?
