Official Intel Core2 Overclocking Thread

Seeing how we don't have a thread like this, figured I'd start one.

Would like to start out by soliciting other Orgah's results for anyone who's tried overclocking their Intel core2 based CPUs, like the Core 2 Duos, Quads, and Extremes.

Post your cpu type, motherboard type/bios, optionally RAM make/model, and what kind of speeds and temps you get from what settings (FSB, ram timings, multipliers, etc).

I'll add mine in a week or so when the new rig is here and built. Post anything you've got so far, big or small. Hopefully we can maybe share some knowledge and experiences, and learn a thing or two.

I will anticipate your findings. They might aid me in overclocking my own Core 2 Duo. However, I am cautious and see little (personal) reason in overclocking.
