Basic Information

What is Polemarchia - Total War?

Polemarchia - Total War is a "Greek Era" mod for M2tW.

It will of course make use of the various new features brought to us by M2TW, like the castle/city feature, or features like upgraded units really changing in appearance, etc etc. And, of course, we will make use of the heavily improved graphics. Imagine phalanxes with lots ov various shields! Kick-ass, aint it? Now stop imagening, scroll down and actually HAVE A LOOK at them. :P

What Kind of Mod is it then?

Our main aim is to make a mod covering the wars between the various city states, wars against the mighty Persian Empire etc. Our aims are realism, thrilling and fun gameplay, lot's of historical background information and lots more.

Start Date

The timeframe of Polemarchia - TW is from 500 untill 375 B.C.

In the east, Persia is strong, looking eagerly at small Greece.

On Hellas herself, Greek City States are fighting each other.

This surely is a very interesting starting scenario!

Total War is inevitable...

Hello.

I've been interested in this mod for quite awhile now. I've scoured through the mod's threads, both official and unofficial, in the hopes of finding at least one spot where an expected release date is posted. I was wondering if there is any way to find out how long you expect it is going to take and at which point in the process you are. No pressure, just curiousity!
