    Default ASUS EN8600GT/HDTP/512-SIL query

    I have heard rumours this card will not run Shogun original or gold,
    can anyone confirm??
    (Xp_sp2 o/s + 2GB ram)

    I don't know about not running it, but have heard some less than stellar stories about the 8x00 series Nvidia drivers and old (and new) games being really broken. Have you bought the card yet or are you waiting to buy it?

    Well they aren't bad cards at all from what I read. The problem is that with video cards, as they tend to get better, driver support for older games tends to get worse and worse. I think there is an Orgah who's got an 8600, maybe he'll read this and perhaps comment. Good luck either way.
