I don't have anything too sweet yet, but I had an army of two units of Julli Peasants in a conquered Carthage town and Carthage sent a force to retake it. Being very new to the game, I decided to launch an attack on his troops. They turned out to be one unit of militia and one unit of slingers. I sent my captain's unit against the slingers (hoping for a quick victory) and had my other unit try to draw off his militia unit. WELL...... I followed my captain's unit closer and saw them suffer 60% casualties, but managed to route the slingers and kill nearly all of them. Now, here is the odd part: I went back to find my other peasants and found them happily standing... surrounded by dead guys! They took like 35% casualties, but I guess the enemy routed and so they chased them down and caused around 55% to them!
Go figure!
