    Default Adding a weapon to a unit

    I have been playing the Greek Extended Mod for a few days now. The Hoplite units for the Greek cities only carry spears. I have added swords as a secondary weapon. They have the unit set up wierd, instead of making a phalanx formation they make a shield wall, which lets them wield there spears overhead (or overshield). If you edit it to give them the phalanx formation instead of the shield wall they hold their spears like a regular phalanx unit (below the shield). Now when they close in and you let them out of the shield wall formation they fight with their swords. The problem is that the swords do not show up (it looks they are just beating the enemy with their fists). Will I have to edit the animation to add the sword? Also can I edit the animation to let them use the phalanx formation and hold their spears above the shield, and if I do this can i make this change only effect that unit?

    You will have to edit the model to add a sword, then you will need to change the skin, then you will need to add a second animation to the unit in DMB (it sounds like you've done the third part already).
