i have tried that money script as i noted in my first post, it seems to be too one sided against the AI

There are several different money mods, try one of the multiple ones that Redmeth and mlp071 put out. They are the most up to date and there are difficulty selections.
auto_resolve is based mostly on campaign difficulty and command stars. If you are playing EB on VH, then you have the worst possible options against you. But if you manage to get a general with a good amount of command stars, try him in autocalc, though he still will suffer. If there is a battle that you know that you'll win, but the autocalc always loses, you can use the auto_win cheat. You'll probably lose more men than if you played out the battle.
yes, every so often, and i dont want to play a battle, and i know ill win, i will use the auto_win cheat. i also use it for naval battle if the fleet is carrying an army.

thanks for the tips, do you put that "auto_win" on the prompt that comes up with the ~ button?
yes- but you type in either "auto_win attacker" or "auto_win defender"
remember- if you are salling out, its "attacker", but if you are ambushed, its "defender". otherwise, it should be clear what to type in.
