Default A Noob needing some help.

I'm kind of new to the whole modding thing and I tried looking for the answer to this but I couldn't find it on Scriptorium, the thing is I downloaded some skins for Parthia so they had some decent Infrantry but I don't know how to put them in the game properly,if you could tell me how to I would really appreciate it.

Are they just skins or are they 3d models?

Can we see the download, just to know what you've got.

This is the link to the download

They're not 3d models just skins that I downloaded and want to put into the game.

You need to extract the files from the zip file, and place all the files from that zip file into:

    C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data\models_unit\textures

It should overwrite files (you might want to make a backup so that you can uninstall if you don't like the skins) and that should work.

    Good luck

Question Re: A Noob needing some help.

The thing is I've tried that but I don't seem to have a models_unit\textures file, when I go into models_unit all there is there is a file called attachments.I have a textures file that looks like where you would put the skins but it's in a completely different place and I don't want to chance it incase I mess up the game, and does it matter that instead of activision in the files its the creative assembly ?
