    Thumbs down Help please

My Rome Total War has stopped working, it Recognises the disc and loads until you see the credits with the picture of the Barbarians coming out of the woods but then stops, I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but all that it did was stop uninstalling saying that I do not have access to a file, something like mmds:2 or something so I tried to play it again, it had uninstalled, partially then I tried reinstalling it again and it went to 99% complete and said that I do not have access to the file again. I cannot uninstall it, reinstall it, install it or play it, what can I do?

ps I am not quite sure that this belongs here but I cannot find a help forum, it may be quite blatant but please excuse me I am still finding my way around this site.

    Thanks in advance.

What version did you have previously? It seems like RTW 1.2 had some uninstall issues, maybe this thread can help you, more exactly, the link to this thread.

There's another thread about a similiar problem right here. No solution provided there though. Maybe you should post in that thread to see if anybody has found a solution yet.

Don't forget to post the specs of your system, i.e.: CPU, sound card, RAM, video card etc.

Hope you get helped out soon.
