hi i been trying to access twcentre.net since theis morning but get a message sayign database error.

anyone know whats going on?

Twcenter was blocked by ninja's.You know have no other chance than becoming a full .org member....

But seriously, Sim's been having some issues keeping the database stable.

There's been evidence of memory problems of late, and despite his best efforts to pin them down, they seem to have reoccurred.

The fact that things are still down suggests to me that he's repairing the tables rather than reaching for the backup, which can be seen as better, in a way.

Of course, the other option is that the whole server's gone, which is equally fun

An hardware upgrade there is in the works, but afaik that's not due as yet; in the mean time, I guess you'll just have to stick around here

Go the main forum index page and it should be reported at the bottom. I just checked and it says 20,794. Many of these are likely to be inactive though. Apparently 870 members logged on in the last 24 hours.
