::The Greatest General in the World struts in cockily::

Good show chaps! Highly enjoyable Gahzette. Looking forward to this new challenge, 'xpect I'll have it bloody well beaten in no time.

::haruumphing loudly at all the proles, The Greatest General in the World exits::

(In my head the 'Greatest General in the World' has a British accent for some reason, even though he almost certainly has to be Russian)

Kind of you not to mention the dearth of competition.

Good issue. One thing though the challenge says it must be submitted by July 25th? Don't you mean August 25th?

    My fault, actually.

I'll get to updating it, to fix those little mistakes, later today

I'm having a problem with the Challenge this time. Specifically when I attack Palermo the game does something very strange and then dumps out. The prebattle screen shows King Simon of Sicily as the defender, the defender's reinforcements, and my own reinforcements when in fact there's a depleted unit of Byzantine horse archers against my general and some spearman as the only forces around. I can PM someone a save game, but a better test would be if anyone else has sieged Palermo yet.

Anyone? I'm seriously hoping I don't have to start over.

Some good battles this time around. I especially enjoyed having to figure out how to sack Gaza immediately, so I could get to Egypt's juicy center.

I haven't tried it yet, probably tomorrow. I'll see if it does the same thing to me and tell you in the thread.

Send the save to me, and I'll see if I can fix it. I think I know what's the problem.

Too late, I sold off every structure I owned and spent 130k florins to buy a ceasefire and the town off the Byzantines after I completed the cathedral at Antioch. I'll still send you the save tomorrow I'm curious to know if it's just me or if everyone is going to have this problem.

    Thanks.
