Questions about cheating

Hello everyone.

I haven't made a post here in years, and the same applies to playing RTW. As it has been a long time, and doing some reading on ancient eras and whatnot has rekindled my interest in playing RTW again. I still fondly remember how I used to tinker around with the in game files and make some major modifications and even some cosmetic ones... I liked to imagine that the whole game was not Ancient Rome, but rather a fantasy empire for some reason, and made the changes accordingly.

Anyways since it has been a long time, some things may have changed with the patches being released and the cheat limit.

Now I normally used Patch 1.1 and not any of the other ones since the cheat enabler patch that I had, one that removed the 'once or twice per game' limit and allowed you to use it as much as you wanted. However that patch only worked with 1.1 and not anything else.

So here's my question: Is there a patch or unlocker or something that allows the cheats to work in an unlimited fashion after patch 1.1? If so, please tell me.

P.S. While looking up the cheat codes on some websites, I saw that someone mentioned a patch 3.1 that removed the once per game limit, but so far I've been unsucessful in finding a website to download this patch. Any links would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to say that no 3.1 patch currently in existence. However, there is a 1.3 patch, which may have been what the original poster was talking about. You can download it from here.

Does it allow unlimited uses of the cheat codes? I'll probably find out myself anyways, but whatever. :p

I think that all versions allow for unlimited usage of the cheating codes Cheater - I'm positive that 1.5 does at least. I'm not totally sure though, so you may wish to wait for confirmation before continuing with the patching process.
