I tried the water surface fix by 1) changing the name to nonwater... and 2) by changing the name to wtr... just to be sure the name wasn't the issue. Neither worked. Next step for me I think, unless anyone has any last minute ideas, is to by a copy of RTW vanilla GOLD so its already at 1.5 and then redownload and reinstall EB. Thanks again.

THERE IS A GOD!
So I decided that maybe as a last resort I would buy RTW GOLD edition and Lo and behold! It worked! I guess that the patch issue was the problem all along although my previous installation of RTW read version 1.5 in the options menu time after time. Weird. Anyways I'm off to enjoy your fantastic mod and I want to say a parting thanks and farewell from this thread at least. Its sad though. I feel like we got to know each other so well. Like old war buddies or something. ; ) Thanks folks.
