Akrotates votes nay to your first proposal, we should wait one turn and allow the large army led by Antiginos to head northbound, also i suggest sending a diplomat to secure an alliance with Phyruss of Epiros to help with the destruction of Macedonia.

I also recommend clearing land by the coast of Sparte to allow for sea trade into our city.

I also give my vote for the disbandment of 2/3 of our navy, your reasoning for leaving the other third is reasonable, and acceptable.

But sending athen's garrison to assault Chalkis is a bad move I think, It would leave athen's open for attack with little defenders, at least with the garrison in athens we have the hope of holding the city in the event of a seige, after we secure Korinthos then, and only then, do I suggest focusing our forces north or eastward.

also can i suggest like, a list of the buildings present in each settlement and the one's possible to build? i know it would get really tedious to keep up to date but its really hard to ask for buildings when you dont know which one's you can actually make

being a Rhodian I am ignorant of the events going on in the Hellenic homeland...
but i agree with Akrotates Eurypontidos Lakedamonios (Spoofa), we should secure an alliance with Epeiros first and foremost to counter the Makendonians who swept us in the time of Philip and Alexander... also if we support Epeiros we may be at odds with Roma and Kart-hadast... but those factions will only be of great concern later on, yes?
what about the Getai and Pontos, what should our policy be with them? What if we take Byzantium, things would change then... And what of the Bosphorans? They are greeks, and the region is prosperous, perhaps we can influence the steppe with an alliance with the Sauromatae?

but I am looking too far ahead...

I know I may not be a Spartan, but I'm a warrior, my policy will be warfare if the council deems it fitting come the time of my reign... and the irregular warfare of thracian peltasts, cavalry, and fast infantry appeals to me moreso than the hoplite and phalanx strategies of our people... is it worth gathering Getai and other mercenaries for that purpose? what soldiery do we have at our disposal that can compare to the Thracian peltast, Iberian Loricarti Scutarii, and the Saka Noble?

Thureophoroi and Thorakitai seem to fulfill my preferrances in terms of shock infantry, it is a pity we cannot field elephants nor the fast cavalry of the east... i will do some research (playing a KH campaign for a bit) and return with more insights and questions Also a better idea of what I shall do and the veterans amongst us can advise and vote

My fellow greeks....

Must I remind you that Phyrros' Armies threaten Makedonia as we speak? Surely Antigonos will see the threat to his capital and homeland greater than the loss of southern Greece. I tell you now that if we strike in the spring, we WILL take Korinthos by years end. I will personally lead the assault on the city. With the entire Pellopenese under our control, we will have the resources necessary to conquer all of southern Hellas.

I would have thought the Attikos or Rhodios, having become soft from "civilized life", would be the first to oppose talks of Invasion. To my surprise, my own son, a fellow Spartan, fails to see the threat that Phyrros represents to Antigonos. If Pella falls, Antigonos' Empire will almost certainly fall with it. Antigonos is no fool. He will surely turn his main army north to counter this threat.

All this being said, I am a fair man, and will cede to the council's decision.
