Thread: Text narration intro.

    Default Text narration intro.

Sorry for opening another thread on this, but I've spent the whole night doing this, so I also want you to tell me how it is. I know that there are some "bugs" in the writing(like the position), those are fixed in my local version, but I did not want to upload it again.
    So here we go:

I agree it's a lot better. Just some work on the timing, the grammar and the font and such. Also, the floating banners would be best to turn off.

About the content of the movie itself, you should show a few flashes from battles that have been, like against Celts and Samnites. And choose the units you use carefully. Those Carthaginian armoured elephants don't fit too well.

You should first choose the music, then write the narrative and only then start building the movie together with suitable clips. At least that's what I'd do.

Much better with text. I would go with what Thaatu said. And in addition you may want to let the text hang in a little longer before fading. Some of it seemed to pop up and disappear rather quickly. Other than that, good work.

Except that in EB, english texts usually represent thoughts. It would be quite artistic to have thoughts that you can't understand.

awesome work mate, its a great vid and good text, you worked hard on this! just one opinion i have to voice: where it says "if the gods dont hear us....something something,' and then you say 'gladii and pila' i think instead of naming the weapons so specifically you should just say 'steel and courage, strength and honour, or just, roman might' since it sounds more patriotic. how many times do you hear leaders these days saying 'our marines will liberate the contry with their m-4a1 carbines!'
