    Default Building Browser

    Hi,

    a question over the building browser.....is it possible to implement both Factional and Regional MiC´s inside and let a player see what for Troops he can build with them?

    It would help to make a decision what for Gouverment Form you want to install...atm you can only build a MiC until lv 4 (so you can see what you can build with lv 5) and if you gain no troops or only weak ones its a waste of much money and even more time...i known there some maps of recruitment areas for different Factions but after all it were more Practical.

    So you can see in your Building Browser what for Troops you would gain bevore you build the MiC and helps you to save much time/cash if you see that you facion cannot build anything usefull with lets say Regional MiC in the Region....so you dont worry about Regional and can go on to best Gouverment and Faction MiC´s.

    The building browser does not and will never work properly in EB. This is because we use code in the edb that makes the building browser confused. We cannot change it by hand, it is an automatic process.

    The building browser won't work, becauase it is simply unable to understand any condition with "not" in it. Whether or not the "or" statement works, I don't know.

    Hence, as long as building conditionals remain the same you won't see any more than you do now. And removing the building conditionals is quite against the EB-ishness of EB: these are a direct result (mostly) from the EB governments system.

    hmm.....a horde of hun´s should be send to CA

    a other way, the buildings have their descriptions inside....mayby a short list of availiable Units for every level of the MiC in the Region in the MiC description...would work in same way as Building Browser.

    You are kidding? We cannot change the description of a building based on where it was built, so we would have to write out 199 lists in each description for each level for each MIC. That is just not ever ever going to happen.

    Erm. Even if it were going to happen... you wouldn't see it, at least more than half of it would 'fall off the screen'. Ever seen some Periergsis (Conquered) traits? Like, say Amernias? Then you get a full chunk of Strabo; and most of the time that piece of beauty is cut off rather rudely by something as trivial as RTW engines...
