another thread for the broken hearted/txt message break up

So, I asked out a friend of mine 3 days ago and yesterday morning I got a txt message from her saying that she isn't ready for another relationship yet.(her last boy"friend" was a complete ******* so I understand). I'm not asking for advice or anything like that because the only thing I can really do is wait until she is ready to try and have another relationship. She said she would try to call me this morning but its already 11 O'clock and she has yet to call so I'm just hoping that typing this will get all this emo out of my system. I know I shouldn't feel as bad as I do because I knew she might say this and the only thing that has really changed between us is that now she knows I think she is attractive and has a great personality. Anyone else broken up with someone through a txt message?

QFT. Either you two hook up and get set back on a relationship path or you dont or you two hook up and it just ends up complacting things more. however I would like to point out that in any of these scnarios you are still drunk so the night wouldnt be a total loss.

Maybe just reply to her with a txt message that shows that you're both self-confident and possibly also capable of amusing her...?

Be careful there, though, woad&fangs. The last time I got a message, or rather, an e-mail like that, telling that I'm a great guy et all but she's not quite ready for another relationship etc. etc., well, in few days she was in the laps of my (second) best friend, with me still being crazy fallen for her. It sucked. Big time.

Alright since I posted last I had a lot of rainfall on saturday night and my downstairs flooded. Hence the me not posting till now. I found out she txt'd because she is at her aunts house and she apparently can't call or recieve calls from there for some reason. so I feel a little bit better about that. I also found out that at least part of the reason she is saying she is not ready for another relationship is because her ex boy"friend" has somehow brought another one of our friends into the drama between the two of them. Also, how old do you guys really think I am??? Whenever I have reread some of my posts I thought they made me sound younger than I really am but I guess I was wrong.
